Abstract :
The research on the spatial dynamic characteristics and mechanism of complex regional system can reveal the evolution process from spatial structure, via spatial cognition, spatial behavior, and spatial process back to spatial structure, and get the state of spatial structure and the spatial-temporal evolution pattern for regional system. From the main study perspective of spatial dynamics, this paper discussed the representative models of spatial dynamics, summarized the current applications and research results of the spatial dynamics, and made the prospects on its future research.
