Abstract :
This paper combines the "value-oriented man hypothesis with motivation mechanism according to the "value- oriented man" hypothesis of science & technology talents(S&T talents), and analyzes the characteristics of "value-oriented man": strong self-awareness, independent values and keen desire for value-actualization, desire for advancing self-value, desire for flow, loyalty to career., namely S,W,D,A,J. Then, this paper proposes value-oriented man\´s five kinds of needs corresponding to S, W, D, A, J., and establishes "value-oriented man" double- circle motivation model. Finally, from views of S, W, D, A, J, it puts forward tactics to motivate Chinese S&T talents for independent innovation.
