Abstract :
The authors first describe the context of their work, and the background that leads them to go towards a design environment. Then they define a specification sheet for a design environment: problems to be solved, and help to be given. Thus they extract from their background and from the specification sheet, the concepts fitting those descriptions. The realisation of the environment relies on new technologies that are listed on this paper. Finally they present some results obtained while testing a critical feature in Java: the calculation time
