  • Abstract
    Summary form only given. We expect improvements of the present results in the l-ps regime by applying longer crystals and plan to extend the same scheme to the femtosecond regime by using shorter samples. Recent progress in the reduction of absorption losses in ZnGeP/sub 2/ would allow, on the other hand, pumping at substantially shorter wavelengths.
