Abstract :
A novel maximum power point tracking (MPPT) technique for photovoltaic (PV) is introduced which eliminates drawbacks of common methods such as oscillation at steady state condition and confusion under rapidly changing insolation. This paper introduces a new index which puts nonlinear relation of the solar cells in linear form. Although the introduced method is developed based on the solar modules model, it can be tuned automatically and compensate temperature variation effect. Simulation results prove fast and reliable response of the method and practical PV data show better noise immunity.
