Abstract
The advance of Internet and Web technologies has boosted the development of electronic commerce. The paper proposes a framework that integrates various advanced information technologies for developing e-commerce system. It includes: (1) Intelligent agent, which is used to execute the particular task in the online-trading; (2) Multi-attribute decision method, which calculates the commodity optimality to evaluate the commodities; (3) Ontology, which is used to support sharable information format and representation for the agents to communicate with one another. (4) Web technology, which is used to provide agents integration and application design. We present a prototype using Java agent development framework (JADE). It shows the potential toward the future electronic market.
