  • Abstract
    Web service composition is an important aspect of web services application. In this paper, we present a heuristic web services composition method based on domain ontology, in which the web services were described. Ontology reasoning capability was applied to generate a service composition graph. According to the graph, a serial of composition path is generated. We introduce the heuristic function to reduce the searching area. The experimental results show that this algorithm not only considers the services semantic similarity, but also adjusted web services composition plan dynamically relied on the empirical data of web services composition adaptively.
