Abstract :
The effect of an aluminum enclosure on the power frequency (ELF) magnetic field has been measured in case of various conductor configurations for a three-phase enclosure type gas insulated transmission line (GIL) model. The analysis for the magnetic field has been performed and compared with the experimental results. The aluminum enclosure has a large influence to the magnetic field between the phase conductors. That is, the magnetic field is fully reduced by the existence of the enclosure
