Abstract :
The purpose of this study is to research and develop solid polymer electrolyte (SPE) for lithium polymer battery. We investigated conductivity, electrochemical properties and impedance spectroscopy of poly(ethylene oxide)[PEO]/poly(vinylidene fluoride) [PVDF] blend electrolytes and charge/discharge cycling of LiCoO2/SPE/Li cell. By adding PVDF and plasticizer to PEO-LiClO4 electrolyte, its conductivity was higher than that of PEO-LiClO4 electrolyte. Also PEO4PVDF4LiClO4PC5 ECD remains stable up to 4.4 V vs Li/Li+. The discharge capacity of the LiCoO2 composite cathode was 92 mAh/g based on LiCoO 2
