Abstract :
Linear array CCD (Charge Coupled Device) image sensor has a lot advantage compared to CMOS (Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor) image sensor to be widely used. Recently, it has been paid more attention that FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) is applied to the image preprocessing field. In this paper, the rice color sorter is the study object. In the aspect of the hardware design, a high-speed image acquisition based on linear array CCD is designed with FPGA and simulated. In the aspect of the software design, fast uniform linear motion restoration algorithm is applied to solve the blurred image problem caused by uniform linear movement between rice and the lens. Through the analysis, it shows that the calculation of fast uniform linear motion restoration algorithm suitable for the FPGA design is decreased highly. The simulation using MATLAB proves the restore effect of this algorithm is effectively. Finally, this algorithm is transplanted into the internal FGPA.
