  • Abstract
Considering the ambiguity of public opinion in real life, fuzzy algorithm is introduced into the traditional model of CA in this paper. Firstly, by defining two fuzzy variables, social environment fitness and preference degree, the model of fuzzy CA regarding network public opinion is proposed. Then, the evolution of individual view in the forming process of public opinion is simulated and analyzed by fuzzy logic toolbox of MATLAB. The result shows that the number of neutral group will gradually increase, while those who hold extreme attitudes will gradually decrease after extensive communication and discussion. Finally, they will reach a compromise. The model and method is much closer to the real propagation of internet public opinion.
