Abstract :
In order to make the cloud manufacturing resources into the manufacturing cloud, and to thoroughly resolve tight coupling dependencies between the physical manufacturing resources and the application services, and to support the building environment of virtual cloud manufacturing services, this paper analyzes characteristics and classification of the generalized manufacturing resources in the networked manufacturing environment, and proposes the hierarchical virtual model of manufacturing resources. Based on the requirements of application services and the physical characteristics of manufacturing resources, the article gives the formalization description of physical resources and virtual ability services, and presents the corresponding ontology expression. In the end, the prototype system has been presented for validation.
