Abstract :
In this paper, the author designs a fuzzy controller of double-holding water tank liquid level controller for improving the shortage of conventional controller, such as large overshoot, long steady process, etc. At first, a hardware-in-the-loop simulation platform based on MATLAB/RTW toolbox is put up. Then a PI controller and a fuzzy controller are designed by utilizing this simulation platform. Finally, carry on semi-physical tests to both controllers respectively. The control effect shows that fuzzy controller has good control ability for nonlinear large delay system. Fuzzy controller should be implemented when PID controller cannot reach the desired effect.
