  • Abstract
Summary form only given. Applications of the runaway electron discharge in air under normal conditions are given in the report for the following areas. 1. Sterilization of air and other gaseous objects. 2. Radiation-plasma processing of food products (on an example of cereals processing). 3. Sterilization of medical toolsand a dressing material. 4. Roentgenography, defectoscopy, and safety systems on a basis of the air discharge X-ray radiation. 5. Luminescence analysis of minerals and other kinds of the condensed media. 6. Optical fiber and other solid state sources of a dense UV and violet radiation. 7. Excitation of dense gas lasers. 8. Excitation of vibronic crystal lasers. For each of the specified areas of applications the experimental data showing high efficiency, simplicity, reliability and small cost price of the appropriate technology are resulted.
