Abstract :
It is a strategic measure for the regional logistics system being promoted to plan the logistics centers based on the appropriate market orientation. Aimed at the importance of the market orientation for the logistics centers, the evaluating procedure of the logistics demand of the logistics centers is proposed relying on the market segmentation, and one Kohonen neural networks model for the shippers segmentation is constructed in this paper which is able to erect the relationship between the shippers and the available logistics demand of the logistics centers to ensure the correct market orientation. Besides, an example is to illustrate the validity of the model.
