Abstract
For more accurately predicting and evaluating the vehicle emission at the complicated traffic condition, the paper set up an urban microscopic traffic simulation model. Base on the model one typical traffic intersection in Wuhan city was simulated and analyzed in the paper. Furthermore, the simulating instantaneous vehicle driving behavior during traffic peak hour at the traffic intersection were obtained. Compared the simulation data with the field data about bus driving behavior, the results showed that the simulation model could preferable reflect the real vehicle driving behavior. At the same time an interface was developed to couple the microscopic traffic simulation model with IVE (international vehicle emission) model, and various traffic exhaust emission were estimated at the traffic intersection. Aiming at different traffic signal control plans and different types of bus stop at the traffic intersection, the paper made the evaluation and the comparison, and results would provide help to the decision-making for reducing the vehicle emission at the traffic intersection.
