Abstract :
Grey model and Markov chain are integrated to forecast the tendency of saturation or sigmoid where the precision testified in the case is much more accurate than that of other methods. Thus, the combination forecasting model applies to predict things concretely combined with highway passenger volume development in Guangdong province. Proved in theory and practice, the forecast results not only are more accurate, adaptable, practical but also can help the decision maker with grasping the highway passenger volume development tendency in general and making proper decision.
