Abstract :
In order to efficiently direct traffic, this paper designs a control system of traffic lights based on MUC AT89C51. Designed the hardware, reset circuit, clock circuit and display circuit, and used Keil to realize design of software. Simulation results prove that the system can realize what time alternates red, yellow and green of traffic lights, then realizes the control of traffic. For its simple structure, low cost, high reliability and balance between the hardware and software, this system can be used in transport system.
