  • Abstract
    In order to ensure the oil production and keep the devices on oil well in good condition, during normal production activities in oil fields, depth of dynamic liquid level of the wells should be measured periodically. This paper introduces a kind of dynamic liquid level measuring equipment based on NI single-board RIO embedded real-time processing system, using a improved type of acoustic method which is used widely in dynamic liquid level detecting. By combined existing analysis method with wavelet transform, this device can automatically calculate the sound speed in wellbore annulus, and recognize the waveform reflected by fluid level. Results show that the device can effectively detect the depth of the working fluid level, meeting the needs of normal production activities in oil field.
