Abstract :
Virtual Organizations (VO) are dynamic collections of individuals, institutions, and resources which play an important role in resources management. High performance computing VO scenarios are introduced to show usage of VO to manage and share resource among HPC centers. Meteorology grid computing is a new technology which aims to provide scientist with seamless, reliable, secure and inexpensive access to resources, and help scientists efficiently search and retrieve information, analyze meteorological data and predict the future weather situation. Meteorological HP computing has some typical features in accordance with the requirements for grid computing. In this paper, a layered grid architecture in Meteorology Grid Computing is proposed firstly. Regarding to the architecture, we present principles and basic concepts, architecture details and implement secondly. Thirdly, we introduce China Meteorology Application Grid (CMAGrid) System according to that mode. In this paper, integration of resources and shared service are key technologies in resources management of grid. The CMAGrid will offer meteorology knowledge environments to facilitate the forecasters and scientists with analyzing the future weather situation.
