Abstract :
The purpose of this paper is to report the research related to the development of a sub-surface rock distribution analysis system (SRDAS). Exploitation of sub-surface resources highly depends on information about the distribution of sub-surface rocks. Also, understanding mine information is a key factor in systematic planning of regional development plans. For example, local government should know sub-surface information (spatial locations of mines and wells, rock distribution,...etc.) to estimate safety of the high-speed railway or highway construction plans. This information is useful for the mining industry by saving a lot of effort in investigating the distribution of sub-surface mineral resources. Also, this information can provide a variety of services for both general users and experts on the network
