Abstract :
Low voltage green phosphor, ZnGa2O4:Mn, powder was prepared at a high temperature of more than 900°C in Ar or vacuum. From compositional analysis, it was confirmed that the concentration of oxygen decreased by about 13% in ZnGa2O4:Mn phosphor sintered in vacuum but not in Ar. This induces a deficiency of oxygen content in the phosphor. This means that this lack of oxygen results in the formation of an energy level near 513 nm which contributes to the improvement of the brightness of ZnGa2O4:Mn
