Abstract :
We present the effect of the realistically-shaped head model on the MEG forward and inverse problem by using head model which is made up of triangle elements. Among the many suggested methods, the head model most widely used has been the sphere model. However the shape of the human head is different from a sphere and the conductivity of the head is not uniform. For accurate estimation, we present the effects of the realistically-shaped head model on the MEG forward and inverse problem by using a head model made up of triangle elements. We then perform the estimation on the extracted cortex by means of the Multiple Signal Classification (MUSIC) method
