Application of federated identity management in ERP system

With the continued integration of Enterprise Resource Planning software, identity management in ERP system becomes increasingly complicated and significant. This paper first presents the main problems existing in traditional ERP system identity management, and then analyses the benefits of applying federated identity management to ERP system with analysis of an application case of federated identity management in a Port Enterprise Group ERP systems. On the basis of this, the author puts forward the tactics on implementing federated identity management in ERP system.
