  • Abstract
    A non-contact precision measuring solution for surface topography and profile of small spherical cap is proposed. The proposed measuring device is based on monocular laser head. The overall construction and detailed mechanical structures of the device are introduced followed by the discussion on monocular-laser-based measuring principles. During the process of LSS fitting calculation, the original objective function is replaced with an equivalent one, which turn the nonlinear calculation into linear problem of solving generalized eigenvector. An example of spherical cap measurement based on the proposed method is examined and proved that the measurement solution has a good measuring accuracy.
