Abstract :
The outdoor polymer insulating materials suffer a large erosion and attack from the acid rain. The chemical and physical structure of polymer surface degrades in succession. Many micro cracks occur on the surface and the surface energy of material decreases, which leads to the decreases of surface hydrophobicity so that the contaminant properties of materials are cut down
