  • Abstract
    This paper presents an intelligent transportation test platform including simulated traffic environment, micro-intelligent vehicle platform and visual information processing software. By building a simulated traffic system, we can easily get the visual information of the lane information, traffic signals and obstacles in front of the driving vehicle. Then the feedback information can be sent to the intelligent vehicle so that the intelligent traffic behavior of micro-vehicle based on visual information processing can be achieved. The experiments showed that main functions such as line detection, obstacle detection, and basic traffic signal recognition can be tested on the proposed intelligent transportation testbed. It plays a good role in the early stage of development of the intelligent vehicle, since the cost of micro-simulation traffic environment is much smaller.
