Abstract :
The authors outline a method for determining the individual QRS onsets and offsets for every lead of the standard 12 lead set. The individual onsets and offsets are combined to determine the global onset and offset for a beat. The CSE multilead database and the `median reader´ fiducial measurements have been used to quantify the performance of the authors´ algorithms and the authors found their estimations of the global QRS onset and offset were within the CSE recommended tolerances
