Abstract :
In this paper, we describe monolithic photorefractive materials with enhanced photoconductivity, electro-optic response and photorefractivity based on main- and side chain carbazole polymers. Two types of additional functional groups were introduced to the 9-position of the 3-6 linkage main-chain polymer: carbazole for a hole transporting moiety and push-pull stilbene for an EO chromophore.
