Abstract :
We proposed the optimum condition of coupling efficiency for lossy microring resonator. Thus we designed and fabricated double series coupled microring resonators. From the shape of spectra, we confirmed the dependance of the coupling efficiencies on the shape of spectra. Then we confirmed the optimum condition of coupling efficiencies, in which the pass band of drop port response was maximally flattened and the notch of through port response was maximally deepened.
