Abstract :
Vibratory beam angular rate sensors are fast becoming the most widely used sensors in many applications. The mathematical modeling on the quadrature error of quartz beam vibratory angular rate sensor was presented in this paper. The effects of quadrature error model to the sensor´s performance were analyzed based on the analysis of work principle and error induced by quadrature. And the correlation detection suppression method to the quadrature error on gyroscope performance was presented. Simulation of the system was also content. The results showed that mean square deviation of output signal was reduced by 54.52%, and the zero drift was suppressed. Hence, the reasonability of the model and the validity of the error suppression algorithm have been proved.
