Abstract
A time-domain model of wave propagation is presented. A simulated rectangular pulse is used as input to a 30-cm length of aorta, ignoring branches. Both pressure and flow waveforms are included for the cases of no stenosis, 88% constriction for 1 cm, and 88% constriction for 2 cm. The effects of the stenoses are clearly seen at the entrance to the aorta
