            Abstract : 
A novel passive planar multiple-encoder/decoder has been fabricated, that generates and recognizes simultaneously 16 photonic codes in parallel manner. Optical packet switching has been experimentally demonstrated and 10 Gb/s packets have been switched according to their own destination label with a processing speed of 13 Gpps. A BER less than 10-12 has been measured in both back-to-back and 50 km transmission experiments.
