Abstract
For urban road network, traffic flow at the intersections is the interrupted traffic flow. Recently, applied mathematics developed hydrodynamic traffic flow models on networks, in which signal timing was not considered. The paper put forward hydrodynamic model for interrupted traffic flow at the intersection, in which entropy condition was delay minimization. Based on this proposed model, we presented delay calculation method with physical queue.
