Abstract :
This paper presents an approach to eliminate the transient torque of induction motors by using impulse addition. The approach is different from conventional vector control systems, because impulse addition is used for obtaining transientless torque. The results of numerical simulations show that transient torque of voltage-controlled type systems can be eliminated completely by using the proposed method. In order to apply this method to real cases, the estimation of the time width of the pulse should be performed because impulse is not applicable practically.<>
