Abstract :
A novel simulation method for C4ISR system is presented based on Petri net and HLA. Although Petri net is widely used in the simulation of discrete event system, it doesnpsilat have the concept of level and data, which leads to the result of excessive compute resources especially in modeling of complex systems. In respect that HLA (high level architecture) has advantages in the simulation of complex systems, while Petri net is effective in characterizing the concurrency property and the synchronization property of the problems, we use both Petri net and HLA to model C4ISR system. First, we establish the Petri net model of the C4ISR system. And then, the model division process is described in detail. Finally, the federation of the system is developed based on HLA. Experimental results verify the feasibility and validity of the simulation method.
