Abstract :
This paper proposes a high contribution node selection method for STBC distributed ARQ. The STBC distributed ARQ can send the data packet with multi-hop by repeating the data packet from the surrounding distributed nodes. This system can realize the cooperative diversity without deciding the route from the source node to the destination node in advance. However, the power consumption of each node is large due to the redundant packets are generated. In this paper, in order to reduce the redundant packets, the high contribution node selection method by using the node contribution level to the communication and the limitation of repetition are considered for a power reduction method without serious degradation of packet transmission.
