Abstract :
To enable a mobile robot to navigate in an unknown environment, vision is used as a primary navigation tool. The paper focuses on studying camera calibration via stereo vision. Tsaipsilas camera calibration technique will be introduced and tested with our miniature CCD color cameras to get intrinsic and extrinsic parameters of them. The results demonstrate that Tsaipsilas method is a feasible and accurate technique for camera calibration.
