Abstract :
A fuzzy restoration method of image sequences is presented. In this method one first constructs a hollow rectangle-ring shape region surrounding a missing block and search for a corresponding matching region. Once a matching region in a good frame is obtained, the missing blocks can be replaced by the contents of the core of the hollow-rectangle-ring region in a good frame. By this method, the missing block in an image sequence can be restored in a frame-by-frame basis. Our method is tested with various image sequences
