Abstract :
The aim of this paper is describe the methodology followed for the expert model development based on rules, for a expert system orientated to the PID controllers design for open loop systems. It starts with a brief introduction of the PID controllers design for open loop systems, followed by the organization of the existing rules, and the explanation of a new way to obtain specific rules to choose between the different expressions to optimize a defined specification in the final application phase of expressions to obtain the values of the parameters.
