Abstract
Quality function deployment (QFD) is a customer-oriented design tool for developing new or improved products to increase customer satisfaction. QFD focuses on delivering value by taking into account customer needs and then deploying this information throughout the development process. In the process of transformation, the relative weights of customer attributes and the relationship measures between customer attributes and design requirements are fuzzy numbers. The importance of design requirements is calculated by fuzzy weighted average method based on alpha-cuts, is prioritized by the averaging level cuts to defuzzify in this paper. Finally, an example is given to illustrate the method.
