Abstract :
A new method for data compression is presented. The method is based on the use of a dictionary that is called a context sensitive dictionary. We discuss a data compression model that uses the context sensitive dictionary. The experimental results of the compression model show that the method can reduce several kinds of redundancy in data files and approach a higher compression ratio
