Abstract :
By using the features of initial value sensitivity, parameter sensitivity and a kind of randomness, this paper proposes a novel image scrambling method based on chaotic sequences and image mirror mapping. First, the real value chaotic sequences using the key value is generated. Then it does a bit-exclusive-or operation on each pixel with chaotic sequences. Finally, the encrypted image is obtained by image mirror mapping. This method can encrypt image not only based on the position of the image pixels but also based on changing image pixels´ value. The simulation results indicate that the encryption approach is easy and feasible, and has very good scrambling effect and security.
