  • Abstract
In literature several methods are presented for modeling the large and small signal behavior of switching DC power converters. In this paper, a survey of methods applicable for AC switching power converters is made. For small signal analysis the ´rotating frame of reference´ is discussed. The result is a linear time invariant system which can be investigated with already known techniques. For large signal analysis several known techniques are discussed, which lead to the introduction of multilevel modeling techniques.<>
