Abstract :
This paper analyzes the shortages of traditional Web/CORBA based network management architecture firstly, and then puts forward a new Web/CORBA based architecture for network management with TCP connection, which applies information push technology and notification service to traditional model. It changes the passive state of server and implements network management in an active state. It can push the trap information to manager actively through the TCP connection established when logging in, so the trap information can be responded and processed in time when it is occurred. The network bandwidth can be saved and the burden of server can be decreased with the architecture. The management efficiency of network is improved greatly.
