Abstract :
In March 25, 2007, a big earthquake with a magnitude of 6.9 occurred in Wajima city, Noto Peninsula. The earthquake depth was 11 km and its center was 40 km in the west-south-west of Wajima city. The earthquake damages about 15,000 households and were 359 injured persons, (including 1 dead). The Meteorological Agency named in 2007 this earthquake as NOTO Peninsula Earthquake. In NANAO City, considering the earthquake, the transformation of the landform and a liquefaction phenomenon are observed and a maximum of about 41 cm protuberance is found from Shika-town from the levelling result to Wajima City. In this paper, we describe the influence of earthquakes in the information and communication infrastructure and present future directions.
