  • Abstract
In this proposal, we use one great idea to realize the cable phone system using the digital addressing approach rather than conventional public switching network. With frequency splitting technology, the pseudo switch can be used as a switching device. The telephone´s inter-handshake only uses one cable-line to tire together in parallel without any extra device such as the public switching circuits. The voice signal is controlled by through set-bottom-box, and allocated frequency slot. When we reserve CATV programs, there are over 100 k phone-gates using this cable system, this is enough for local communication. Further, if we can design a floating frequency slot rather than a fixed one, the useful number can be largely increased, where the useful telephone gate-number can be up to 10 M at least
