Abstract :
This paper is concerned with state space representation of Externally Linear Internally Non Linear (ELIN) filter realized with CMOS Operational Transconductance Amplifier (OTA). OTA realisation of hyperbolic functions, sinh (x), cosh (x), tanh (x) using exponential functions (ex and e-x) are proposed. First order ELIN filters are realised in state space approach. SPICE simulation of the synthesized circuits performed with 130nm CMOS VLSI technology is reported to validate the theoretical synthesis.
