Abstract :
The viscous resistance calculation methods for trimarans were presented in this paper, as were developed out based on the thin and thick boundary layer theories, with the integral calculation procedure built in the streamline coordinate system; and the viscous resistance calculation of the monohull and trimaran were performed by present methods as calculation samples, the calculation results having compared with the results from traditional empirical formula to validate the accuracy of present method for ship hulls, especially for trimarans.
