Abstract :
Based on a great deal of statistic data, this paper studies relative carrying capacity of natural resources, economical resources, social resources and their changing processes in Beijing. The results indicate: the carrying capacity of economical resources in Beijing is in the status of margin, but the carrying capacity of natural resources is in the state of overloading; the relative integrative carrying capacity of resources in Beijing is slowly on the rising stage, but if the reference region is the whole nation, the integrative carrying capacity in Beijing is a little in the status of margin. Aiming at the above characteristics, this article suggests that with the development of economy in Beijing, we should develop resources reasonably and exploit them efficiently, upgrade carrying capacity of natural resources, and control the increase of population.
